Alien Deep with Dr. Robert Ballard

A six part series for National Geographic Television, ALIEN DEEP features Dr. Robert Ballard, the famed National Geographic explorer who discovered the wreck of the Titanic at its final resting place. The series takes viewers into the last undiscovered frontier of Planet Earth. Travelling from the top of the world's biggest mountain Mauna Kea in the Big Island of Hawaii, Ballard travels from its summit 14,000ft above the ocean to it's base 22,000ft below. Across the series he visits underwater worlds 3000m deep along the mid-Atlantic ridge, north of the Azores, where no man has gone before, discovers ancient shipwrecks and argues that sapce is not where Man should be heading but the wide open ocean.
